PROJECT DETAILS:

The Project is generally described as including but not limited to: Generator and Electrical IT Upgrade includes, but is not limited to, expanding the existing MDF into the adjacent room; upgrading HVAC system; new network racks and ladder system; grounding busbar system for new and existing equipment; electrical outlets; a reinforced concrete pad to support a generator system; a new natural gas generator, generator controller, and generator enclosure; network equipment for the generator; a transfer switch and generator-associated electrical panel; new outlets connected to the generator electrical panel per the design plans; fiber optic cables from MDF to a location inside the new generator enclosure; and electrical connections to new and existing electrical panels. The new system will meet all District Design Standards and Guidelines and Department of Technology Standards. All construction shall occur after school hours and on weekends. No system outage shall occur during school hours. A dual system will function until the cutover to the new system if required.
