PROJECT DETAILS:

GMH Builders is seeking bids from ALL subcontractors, especially DVBE subcontractors, suppliers & truckers for this project.  

DVBE Goal:  3%  Engineer's Estimate $3,100,000

General Work Description:  

INCREMENT 1 - MODERNIZATION OF EXISTING CLASSROOM BUILDING,REMODELING OF ONE EXISTING COMPUTER LAB INTO MULTIPLE. SPECIALIZED LEARNING SPACES AND MDF CLOSET, MODERNIZATION OF EXISTING KITCHEN, ROOF REPLACEMENT AND MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL. UPGRADES, WITH SITE IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDING NEW PLAY YARD AND ACCESS PATHWAYS.

INCREMENT 2 - CONSTRUCTION OF A SINGLE-STORY 2,590-SF MODULAR, CLASSROOM BUILDING WITH CLASSROOM STORAGE AND CUSTODIAL SPACES.

Project is Subject to Prevailing Wage Requirements and all subcontractors submitting a proposal must have valid DIR #.323 Calendar Day duration.

Liquidated Damages of $750 per calendar day.

- Kalwall Canopy Translucent Panels Installation at Multi-Use Building (E) Canopy.

- Hollow Metal Framed Openings larger than 10-ft in Any Direction.

Certificate of Insurance for General Liability, Auto Liability, Excess Liability and Workers' Compensation are required.  A waiver of subrogation will also be required with all subcontract agreements for all those lines of business excess excess.  Subcontractors will be required to enter into our standard contract with GMH insurance requirements.  All subcontractors/vendors awarded work on this project may have to furnish subcontract performance and payment bonds, for the amount of the subcontract bid, issued by an addmitted corporate surety acceptable to our company (if required).  

GMH Builders is available and willing to assist breaking down bid items into economically feasible units for minority participation.  We will assist with bonds, lines of credit and insurance if needed.
