It is Subcontractors’ responsibility to know the complete set of plans, to clarify and cover any missing items required to complete their scope of work. Additional costs that the subcontractor incurs from vendors or suppliers after the bid deadline due to “material escalation” will not be accepted or eligible for reimbursement by the owner or general contractor. It is the subcontractor’s responsibility to guarantee and hold their price once a final bid is provided to the general contractor.
