Edwards Construction Group is currently pursuing the Installation of District Provided HVAC Equipment at Adam ES, Oakley ES, RIce ES, and Tunnell ES for the Santa Maria-Bonita School District.

The project scope includes:

• Adam ES: The replacement of existing mechanical units, ductwork, control devices, and connect to district EMS system at buildings: 010, 020, & 030. New mechanical screens at buildings: 010, 020, & 030. New mechanical access doors between attic and covered walkways at buildings: 010, 020, 030. 
• Oakley ES: The replacement of existing mechanical units, ductwork, control devices, and connect to district EMS system at buildings: 010, 020, & 030. New mechanical screens at buildings: 010, 020, & 030. New mechanical access doors between attic and covered walkways at buildings: 010, 020, 030. Site Improvements to facilitate accessible parking requirements.
• Rice ES: The replacement of existing mechanical units, ductwork, control devices, and connect to district EMS system at buildings: 010 & 020. New mechanical screens at buildings: 010 & 020. New mechanical access doors between attic and covered walkways at buildings: 010 & 020. Site Improvements to facilitate accessible parking requirements.
• Tunnell ES: The replacement of existing mechanical units, ductwork, control devices, and connect to district EMS system at buildings: 010,  020, & 040. New mechanical screens at buildings: 010 & 020. New mechanical access doors between attic and covered walkways at buildings: 010 & 020.

This is a PREVAILING WAGE project.

There is a 3% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) requirement. 

Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing contractors holding either a C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and C-46 California State Contractors license MUST be prequalified with the district NO LATER THAN 10 BUSINESS DAYS prior to the date fixed for the public opening of sealed bids.
