PROJECT DETAILS:

Edwards Construction Group is currently pursuing the Eastlake High School - Library Rehabilitation for the Sweetwater Union High School District (SUHSD).

The project includes the alteration of existing library building 120 including alterations to library, classrooms, storage rooms, and restrooms. Alterations to surrounding site hardscape to create accessible entries and walkways to and around building 120, updated landscaping and irrigation at the front of the school, added parking, and replacement marquee sign. No new added square footage. Existing type v-a, non-sprinklered. E occupancy. Total of 20,450 sf 36' max. building height.

This is a PREVAILING WAGE project.

This project includes a PLA Requirement (Project Labor Agreement).

There is a 3% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) requirement.  

ALL MEP subcontractors that HOLD any of the following licenses MUST be prequalified with the district: C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and C-46. Submit your prequalification application at https://purchasing.sweetwaterschools.org/contractor-pre-qualification/ NO LATER THAN January 25th, 2024 @ 2PM.
