The Project is generally described as:
Door hardware replacement and maintenance at Balboa High School and Phillip and Sala Burton
High School to improve security control at the perimeter of school campus and occupied rooms.
This work involves the following:
a. Replace existing cylindrical locksets and panic devices to feature double cylinder
function.
b. Provide new doors or retrofit doors to suit new door hardware.
c. Repair or replace door frame to ensure proper security function of door and its lockset
d. Repair, replace and/or adjust existing defective door hardware in addition to lever
lockset/panic device replacement.
e. Install additional door hardware items to ensure proper function of door and security of occupied rooms.
f. Perform work after school hours and weekends.
The Estimated construction value of the work is $850,000.00.

Subcontractors will be required to enter into our standard contract. No modifications to the contract are permitted. All subcontractors/vendors awarded work on this project must be able to furnish subcontract performance and payment bonds, for the amount of the subcontract bid, issued by an admitted corporate surety acceptable to our company (If required)
