"A. The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following:
1. Site Improvements:
a. Replacement of existing perimeter fencing and gates.
b. P.O.T Improvements for Accessibility.
c. Campus Wide Fire Alarms Upgrade
d. Parking Lot and Vehicle Access Improvements
e. Replacement of existing concrete pavement
f. Landscape and Irrigation Improvements
g. Installation of DSA PC Shade Structure
h. Procurement and Installation of DSA PC Portable Ramps
i. Outdoor Drinking Fountain
2. Building Improvements:
a. Classrooms:
1) Existing casework to be removed and replaced with new casework as indicated on drawings.
2) New flooring as indicated on drawings
3) New IT infrastructure as indicated on drawings.
4) New MDF Cabinet as location designated on drawings
b. Existing restrooms to be removed and modified for new Accessible Restroom
c. Existing East restroom, bath, and laundry to be upgraded as shown on drawings.
d. Existing West restroom to be demolished and converted to Office and Lactation as indicated on drawings.
e. Portables: IT Infrastructure as indicated on drawings
f. Hazmat Abatement as required to perform Work is included in this contract. See Appendix for more information.
B. The Ramps have not been purchased by the School District for this project. The Contractor is responsible for the purchase and installation of the Ramps. The District has purchased the engineering for the designated Shade Structures and it has been submitted to DSA as a part of the Shade Structures approval.
C. Type of Contract: Project will be constructed under a single prime contract.

This Contract is subject to prequalification. If a bidder is not prequalified to bid on the Contract, Owner will not accept the bid. Any subcontractors listed by the bidder for work requiring C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, or C-46 licenses must have current prequalified status with the Owner. The application for prequalification must be submitted to the Owner by the date specified in the application. The prequalification application may be obtained from the Owner."
