Psomas is seeking certified and qualified subconsultants and/or suppliers for the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) Pardee Center Utility Locating and Mapping Services (RFP PAR 22-011). The work shall be to describe the utility locating and mapping services being requested by the East Bay Municipal Utility District (District) for the Pardee Center (PACT).

Description of Services includes

1. Location services
   1. All material, equipment, labor, and technical supervision to determine the existence and location of all subsurface water, sewer, electrical, data, cable television, and communications utilities as well as overhead electrical utilities at the District’s 47 acre +/- Pardee Center Area. The Pardee Center area consists of following:
      1. Administration offices
      2. Shops & warehouse
      3. Four separate Crew Quarters
      4. Sports court and swimming pool
      5. Five garages
      6. Multi purpose hall and kitchen
      7. Guest lodge
      8. Water quality lab
      9. Maintenance facilities
      10. 2 staff residences
      11. Water treatment and distribution facilities
      12. Wastewater collections, treatment, and disposal facilities
      13. Other miscellaneous facilities within the area designated on the Exhibit G maps.
2. Collection and Recording of Data (Measure and/or record the following information for each utility)
   1. Horizontal location referenced to coordinate datum, with accuracy consistent with Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Quality Level B.
3. Mapping documentation for the above utilities. Documentation to include the following:
   1. Plan drawings (CAD DWG format, and PDF) including layers depicting each type of utility in both black-and-white and in color. The District will provide a
   2. CAD DWG base map file of the area to the selected Proposer.
   3. Drawings shall depict attributes such as line type, material type, line size, inservice, out-of-service, active, abandoned.
   4. Drawings shall be reproducible by all printing and duplication media in black-and- white and in color.
   5. Drafting and lettering shall be of proper density and legibility for a 50% reduction during reproduction.
   6. The depiction of attributes shall not be eliminated, obliterated, or obscured by the manner of reproduction or by 50% reduction in size.
   7. GPS coordinates shall be provided for significant appurtenances including vaults, junction/pull/meter boxes, transformers, poles, electrical pedestals/panels, valves, and risers.

Scope of Work/Deliverables, as provided in EBMUD's RFP, can be provided upon request.

Upon request, Psomas will assist the consultant in providing information regarding obtaining bonds, lines of credit, insurance, and/or any technical assistance related to requirements of the work. Likewise, upon request, Psomas will assist the consultant in providing information regarding obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, materials, or related assistance or services (excluding supplies and equipment that the DBE subcontractor purchases or leases from the prime contractor or its affiliates). This RFQ shall not obligate Psomas to either contract with, or reimburse costs to, respondents hereto.
