No Modifications to the contract are permitted. Description of the work is as follows, replacing portions of the existing municipal water distribution system, including approximately 6,865 LF of 8" PVC C-900 waterline.  Remove and Replace 11 Fire Hydrants and 1" water services/laterals, cap and abandon existing water mains in place, and remove existing gate valves. Provide trenching, backfilling, and patching required for the new construction.
