PROJECT DETAILS:

This Project is part of Peralta Community College’s goal to upgrade its facilities to foster a better environment for its students by addressing existing damage and safety concerns at the Merritt College: ADA and Site Improvements. The buildings will remain closed during construction. The various renovations shall include replacement of existing flooring, ceiling tiles, drinking fountains, door hardware, lighting, exit signage, restroom plumbing fixtures, restroom tiles, restroom stalls, new paint as well as site improvements throughout the campus.

Bid Format : 

  • Per plans and specification
  • Exclusions must be noted
  • All trades are responsible to visit and/or investigate the project site to identify existing and potential conditions pertaining to their scope of work.
  • All work must be in accordance with all local, state and/or national code requirements.
  • Engineering, layout and/or testing, if required, shall be included.
  • 100% Performance and payment bond may be required; JUV, Inc. will pay up to 1.5% of Bond Premium. 
  • Pricing structure must be by CSI division (i.e. separate pricing for mechanical and plumbing, lath/plaster and drywall, etc.)
  • This project is subject to Project Labor Agreement and Prevailing Wage.
