Kern Steel Fabrication, Inc may require subcontractors to provide 100% Payment and Performance Bonds as a condition of contract. Kern Steel Fabrication, Inc. strongly encourages the use of qualified MBE/WBE/DBE/OBE/DVBE subcontractors and suppliers.  Please indicate the use of qualified MBE/WBE/DBE/OBE/DVBE suppliers and lower tier subcontractors where applicable.  It is the subcontractors’ responsibility to review the Owner’s General and Special conditions for this project, as they will be binding.  Subcontractors will also be required to execute Kern Steel Fabrication, Inc’s standard Subcontract Agreement and comply with Kern Steel Fabrication, Inc. standard insurance requirements, should we both be awarded this project.  A copy of the documents and be view at our office.  Kern Steel Fabrication, Inc’s listing of a subcontractor is not to be constructed as an acceptance of all of the subcontractors’ conditions or exceptions included with the price quote.
