PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project includes site preparation, infrastructure, utility connections, and building integration to support the installation of portable classrooms and support buildings on an active LAUSD campus. Contractor-performed scope includes preparation of building pads, utility extensions and tie-ins, fire sprinkler installation, fire alarm connections, accessibility improvements, exterior painting and branding, and all site restoration required to support the portable installations. The project also includes demolition and removal of three uncertified portable buildings.
In addition to portable building coordination, the scope includes extensive site and infrastructure work, including sanitary sewer, water, and electrical utility upgrades; accessible paths of travel; fencing and motorized gates; EV charging infrastructure; site lighting; landscape and hardscape restoration; construction of a new staff parking lot; and monument signage and outdoor learning areas. Interior alterations and ADA upgrades to existing campus restrooms and staff lounge areas are also included.
