The Scope of works includes but not limited to hazardous material abatement, strengthening the seismic resistance of the (E) structural concrete framing, foundation improvement with micropiles and new shear walls, effluent concrete channel repair, mechanical, electrical & fire protection building utilities improvements & modification, temporary staff & support facilities offices, water quality laboratory and other appurtenant work as specified and shown on the Bid document.

PROJECT DETAILS:

Contractors shall comply with all applicable provisions of the California Labor Code and all Federal, State & Local laws and Regulations, including Health Department (COVID-19), that affect the hours of Work, Wages, and other compensation of employees, Non Discrimination, and other conduct of works and must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relation per Labor Code Section 1725.5. 2. Metropolitan Water District of Southern California Board of Directors has accepted Project Labor Agreement (PLA) that contractors who perform construction work agree to execute and be bound by the term of PLA, by signing Letter of Assent . 3. The Metropolitan has adopted a policy encouraging the participation of Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises ( DVBE), and requires 25 percent (25%) of the Total Bid. 4. Pursuant to the provisions of California Labor Code, Eight Hours labor shall constitute a legal days work, from Monday through Friday and Saturday, with prior approval from the Engineer. No Work performance on Sundays and at some restricted area in accordance within the allotted Phases. The cost of work performed outside of normal working hours in pursuit of the Work Schedule must be borne by the Sub-Contractors. 6. The use of an "or Equal" item of material or equipment shall meet the contract requirements and shall be submitted to the Engineer's field office within thirty (30) days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.

suppliers for project participation. We require all Sub-Contractors to furnish 100% Performance & Payment Bonds from a U.S. Trea-
sury-listed surety A-6 or better. Premium Cost shall be included in the proposal. By submitting a Bid, Bidders warrants & agrees that
they will execute Icon-West’s Sub-Contract without alteration. Further by submitting a Bid to Icon-West, the Bidders agrees to hold
their Bid Proposal for a period of 120 days. A Bid Bond may be required for $ 500K or over Value Contract.
