General Work Description:
Clark Road Apartments is an Affordable Housing project. A planned 72 unit affordable housing community on a 7.55 acre infill site. Development will include (6) two story family apartment buildings, and (1) single story community building. Residential amenities will include outdoor recreation areas consisting of a tot lot, ball court, BBQ and shaded picnic areas. The project will include a mix of one, two and three bedroom dwelling units ranging in size from 676 to 1156 square feet of living area.

Women Participation Goal for each Trade: 6.9%

Federal Labor Provisions – the project is subject to federal contract requirements, including providing employment opportunities to minorities, women, and low-income persons and contracting opportunities to Minority-, Women-, and Section 3 businesses. The goal for Minority is 14.3% and the Women goal is 6.9%. For workers, the minimum Section 3 benchmark is twenty-five (25) percent or more of the total number of labor hours worked by all workers on a Section 3 project are Section 3 workers; and five (5) percent or more of the total number of labor hours worked by all workers on a Section 3 project are Targeted Section 3 workers.
Certificate of Insurance for General Liability, Auto Liability, Excess Liability and Workers' Compensation are required. A waiver of subrogation will also be required with all subcontract agreements for all those lines of business excess. Subcontractors will be required to enter into our standard contract with GMH insurance requirements. All subcontractors/vendors awarded work on this project may have to furnish subcontract performance and payment bonds, for the amount of the subcontract bid, issued by an admitted corporate surety acceptable to our company (if required).
GMH Builders is available and willing to assist breaking down bid items into economically feasible units for minority participation.
