PROJECT DETAILS:

Scope: Removal and disposal of existing anthracite, support gravel, and underdrains; demolition, removal and disposal of existing nozzle underdrain tiles; Demolition, removal, and disposal of raised relief on concrete filter bottom; pour back of a minimum of 5 inches of 5000 psi concrete to specified elevation (scarify as needed to ensure minimum 5 inches of depth); surface preparation of all specified surfaces of the filter basin; replacement of existing concrete joint seals; application of protective coating to all specified surfaces of the filter basin; installation of new, Owner furnished, underdrains, installation of owner furnished silica filter sand and anthracite filter media; and all associated work ("Work") as indicated in the Contract Documents and Specifications on filters #6. Additionally, at this location, the project generally consists of but is not limited to: Removal and disposal of existing anthracite, support gravel, and underdrains; surface preparation of all specified surfaces of the filter basin; replacement of existing concrete joint seals; application of protective coating to all specified surfaces of the filter basin; installation of new, Owner furnished, underdrains, installation of new, owner furnished silica filter sand and anthracite filter media; and all associated work ("Work") as indicated in the Contract Documents and Specifications on filters #7 through #10.
