HDR Inc. is looking to partner with Los Angeles County certified Community Business Enterprises (CBE) firms that also fall in one of the following categories: disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBE), social enterprises (SE), disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE), minority owned businesses (MBE), women-owned businesses (WBE), and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning-owned businesses (LGBTQQBE), in pursuit of the County of Los Angeles, Department of Parks and Recreation, Architecture Services, for As-Needed Consultant Services RFSQ: DPR-RSFQ-ASNC-2025.

Project Name and Description: The County of Los Angeles (County) Department of Parks and Recreation (Department) is seeking qualified companies to enter into Master Agreements with the County to provide As-Needed Consultant Services for planning, design, construction, and facilities maintenance projects throughout the County. The Department manages one of the nation's largest municipal park systems, with 183 parks including local and regional parks, eight nature centers, four botanical gardens, 20 golf courses, 15 wildlife sanctuaries, 37 public swimming pools, more than 200 miles of multi-use trails, and the iconic Hollywood Bowl.  This network of open spaces spans over 73,000 acres across southern California and is home to a wide range of recreational and cultural resources, including archeological sites and historical buildings, sports fields and courts, senior and community centers, playgrounds and gymnasiums. The portfolio of work under the As-Needed Consultant Services Master Agreements is proportionally diverse, ranging from cost estimates, architectural and construction drawings, technical studies and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) documents for numerous park improvement projects to planning efforts.
