The objective of the Project is to improve existing San Joaquin Pipeline (SJPL) System so that it will allow safe personnel entry into segments
of pipelines without a system shutdown. This contract is for the improvements of Phase 2 which focuses on the crossover valves between SJPL #1
and SJPL #2 and the inline valves on SJPL #1 in the crossover vaults. The scope of work will include 1) uprate 60-inch butterfly valves on SJPL#1
in the crossover vaults at Pelican, Emery and Roselle with City Furnished 60-inch butterfly valves; 2) Replace SJPL #1/SJPL #2 related crossover
butterfly valves with City Furnished double knife gate valves in Pelican, Roselle and Emery Crossover Vaults. 3) Associated Structural, electrical
and I&C work. The Work is to be performed in Stanislaus County, California.
